CuteJapaneseFashion.com – Review

Hello Everyone,
Today I have a quick review of a UK based web store called Cute Japanese Fashion.
http://www.cutejapanesefashion.com/
https://www.facebook.com/CJFashion

I came across Cute Japanese Fashion on facebook recently so went to check out their site and found a top I wanted. They mostly stock Asian fashion items and accessories, as a result they are in Asian clothing sizes which tend to be much smaller than western sizes. Most of the items on the website will only fit a UK 8-12, though looser styled items may fit larger. They are looking at stocking larger sized items in the future though. Their business aim is also to offer a range of fashion items at under £20 each, which is pretty good. I know that some of their items are more expensive than you can get them on ebay but they are here in the UK, had to pay to import it all and are trying to run a business. It’s much easier, safer and faster to purchase them here, you don’t have a risk of customs, you can deal in English and if anything goes wrong it’s much easier to sort. They also offer a reward points scheme (though I’m not really sure how that works), have a massive sale on currently and you can get an extra 10% off all items (including sale) with the code Kawaii.

Anyway, I hadn’t heard of them before and didn’t know anyone that had bought from them so I was a bit worried when purchasing but they are totally genuine and are really based here. The website is super easy to navigate and use and you can shop by categories or trends. I paid using paypal like usual. Paypal is a really easy way to pay for things and gives you all sorts of protection when buying online so I always feel safer using it, especially when buying from a new company. Once my order had gone through I received a conformation email of my order straight away (I bought on a Friday) and then on the Monday I received another email from them updating my order status to shipped and the item arrived the following day. So fast!

This is the item I purchased:

The item arrived in a standard postage packet. Inside the top was in a clear packet, a printed copy of the invoice was included and there was a free gift which included a roll of cute tape, a couple of sheets of cute note paper and a business card.

The top material feels nice and the print on the top is lined up much better than on the one in the stock photo where parts of the design were cut off. Overall the print is clear though there are a few random dark dots here and there and the lettering under the winged eyeball is slightly missing but none of this is really noticeable or an issue as far as I’m concerned. I also wish it didn’t have swearing on it, but at least it’s at the bottom so hopefully I can hide that. I just love the colours and the bear though! Detail pics~

The top cost £12.99 plus £3.95 postage (and I was stupid so forgot to use the 10% discount code) which I don’t think is too bad. I can’t find the same top anywhere else online and it arrived super fast so I’m happy. I hope it wears well and washes ok and that the print doesn’t just fade loads, unfortunately I won’t know that until I start wearing it. The website gave the size as 8-12 but it would easily fit a UK 12/14 too. It’s now sold out but I really hope they get more fairy kei/creepy cute t-shirts in again. Overall I’m really happy with my purchase and highly recommend their website.

Glitterbomb, Alpaca Necklace – Review

Hello Lovelies,
Today I have a quick Glitterbomb review for you.
http://www.glitterbombjewellery.co.uk/
https://www.facebook.com/GlitterbombJewellery

Glitterbomb sell beautiful and super cute accessories and jewellery. I’ve bought from them in person before at Hyper Japan (I got a lovely unicorn laser cut necklace) but this was my first time ordering online. They announced at the end of last year 2014 that they would be opening a new online website in January so once it launched I went to have a nosey. They are running a January sales discount, enter ‘NEWYEAR’ at the checkout to get 10% off until the end of the month, so of course I ended up purchasing something.
This is what I bought, an adorable alpaca laser cut necklace in lilac.

The website was really easy to use and I paid using paypal. I had no issues at all, was a smooth transaction. I received an email confirmation and a couple of days after ordering my necklace arrived. Look at the cute tape on the envelope!

It arrived in a pretty pink packet with a large address label on the front edged with cute tape. Inside was a pink box with bubble wrap around it and an advertising flyer.

I really love the box, the lettering is shiny as it’s in a metallic pink print and the box is a delicate pastel pink. Inside the box the necklace is safely inside a plastic packet on padding to ensure it arrived safely. Isn’t it adorable? It even features a small Glitterbomb branded heart tag.

I’m very happy with my purchase, it’s a beautiful item, was very well packed and is presented really nicely. Excellent service!

If you love kawaii alpacas and pastel colours then you need to check this out too:

This is quite exciting, Glitterbomb are currently running a pre-order for a super cute Alpaca print skater dress. It’s in delicate pastel colours and is made from stretchy lycra type fabric. It’s also available in sizes XS – 3XL (roughly a UK size 8 – 20) and you can even use the discount code on it making it less than £30, though that’s a good price anyway. But be quick, the pre-order stops on the 22nd Jan 2015.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope you have all had a lovely holiday period however you spent it. I’m sorry that I’m a bit late in wishing you a happy new year, it’s been a busy time. So a new year usually means reflecting on things and making resolutions. I’m not going to make any resolutions as such as you never know how life will go so often keeping them doesn’t happen. I can reveal that my circumstances for this year have changed slightly since last, in a good way, which hopefully will make blogging regularly and attending meets etc easier which means more posts!

My aims for the New Year are to get to more meets, wear interesting and fun fashions more often, embrace more opportunities in life, have fun and do more blogging.

Have any of you decided to make New Year resolutions? If so I wish you lots of luck with keeping them.
